Noeto on your phone

Installing it

The installable build lives at pwa.noeto.online — a different address from the one you use in a desktop browser, because it is the build that ships an app manifest and a service worker. The desktop app at app.noeto.online has neither and your phone will never offer to install it.

Open that address on your phone and your browser will offer to add Noeto to your home screen. On iPhone, Safari puts it under Share → Add to Home Screen; on Android, Chrome offers Install app.

Once installed it behaves like an app: its own icon, its own window, no browser chrome. It is the same Noeto and the same account.

Working on a touchscreen

Dragging a card needs a deliberate press: hold it until it lifts, then move it. Without that, every scroll down a column would start dragging whatever your thumb landed on.

Offline

Be clear about what this does and does not do.

The app shell works offline. Open Noeto with no signal and the interface loads rather than showing a browser error page.

Your boards do not. The cards, the columns and the comments come from the server, and with no connection there is nothing to show. Noeto tells you it cannot reach the server rather than showing you a stale board and letting you type into it.

Nothing here pretends to work offline when the data cannot.
